Following umpire's reports JMG Marton fined for behaviour contrary to the spirit of the game. The Captain was reminded of his responsibilities within the Laws of Cricket. They were warned as to future conduct.
Yarm
Fined for playing 3 unqualified players in game. Warned regarding observing rule 21 in future. Captain advised to ensure both umpires and opposing captain are aware of any exceptional circumstances.
Late/Missing Results
Despite warnings to clubs over last two seasons, fines this year well over £400. In a number of cases neither side submitted returns . Agreed that a 1pt deduction should apply after 5 days in addition to current fines. Rule 21 to be amended.
Playing Conditions
Clarification of use of substitutes in relation to league rules 12 & 13 to be included. Debating whether to included condition regarding players arriving during second innings.
